Ever felt like you just can’t find a make-up style to suit you? If this sounds like you, this is in fact the year for you to shine!

This season we are entering into a new age; this is the age of cosmetic equality.

No longer do make-up brands quite simple cater for one skin tone, they instead house an assortment of shades, each tailored to a different individual.

The likes of Bobbi Brown, Mac and NARs are just a few of the iconic make-up brands that have pushed their shades further. Those with very fair, medium, tanned, golden and dark skin are all able to find the perfect match.

As well as Barbie pink shades and cutesy pale hues, make-up now also offers deep rich shades!

Once upon a time, prestigious make-up artists would have to mix foundations themselves in order to come up with a true match. This is no longer the case and there are a variety of times, textures and shades available now!

Those that wish to achieve a flawless finish can in fact invest in an airbrush tool! This is the make-up artist’s dream! It applies a flawless and untouchable finish to any skin, perfect for photo shoots and high fashion shows. It also means less work for the graphic artist when it comes to retouching!

This tool is in fact used in many high fashion shoots and on the runways. It create flawless skin in an instance and once you have find the perfect tone to suite your complexion, you won’t need to worry about blending several different shades together.

If you are not lucky enough to own an airbrush make-up tool, there are ranges of other products on the market that boast a similar finish. Simply step into your local beauty store and invest in the help of a beauty connoisseur. He or she will be able to give you an insight into what is best for your skin.

Make-up has gone sci-fi this season and in order to stay on trend for spring and summer, you may wish to take a few notes!

Any woman will tell you that her ultimate beauty desire is to obtain perfect, poreless skin! Skin that looks so radiant, it almost glows from within!

Well this season you are in luck, because this year is in fact the beginning of a new complexion revolution!

Think 3D finishes, reflectivity, contemporary looks, radiance and flawless appearances!

The dawn of the cyber skin is here! Such a look is certainly a little different from last season’s look! Past seasons have showcased dark and dusty seventies inspired tan. This season’s skin is fresh, light and bare!

There is a time and a place for bronzed skin. Bronzer and tanning products should only be applied to the skin in a natural way. Anything other than this will look a little like your skin doesn’t belong to you.

An orange hue can cause more problems than not. For one thing, you will look like you have come back from a fab hol, yet when people ask, you won’t have any fab holiday stories to tell. If you apply the tan in a rush, you may run the risk of staining your clothes. If you don’t see to this stain soon, it could become a permanent one!

A light tan is the perfect investment for those that intend to bare all on a beach. For everyday wear this look can become both tiresome and a hassle to keep up.

This is why all you ladies should be getting a little excited about the new sci-fi look.

For one thing, you won’t need to get up an hour early in the morning in order to apply your fake tan. You can simply slide out of bed at a more leisurely hour, dab a little highlighter on those cheekbones and you are almost good to go. Finish the look with a nude lip shade and a little natural hues eye mascara.

There are some beauty products that have been passed down by the generations. These products are renowned for their faultless performances and have in turn spanned decades.

Despite being on the go for so long, their reputation is still fully in tact. This is one of the reasons why many of us choose to spend a little more in order to invest in them.

This year we see six of our favourite beauty buys celebrate another birthday!

First up is the lime, basil and mandarin Cologne from Jo Malone London. This particular item is priced at £72 for 100ml. It has in fact just celebrated 21 years and is still going strong. It is a popular product for many and is a great present for a loved one, whether this is your boyfriend, your husband or even your brother.

The Jo Malone brand tends to be renowned for its candles, drawer liners and bath oils, this original scent is however as popular as the day it was born! The original fresh and tangy scent is still very much there, which is possibly why it remains as the brand’s best selling product!

Blue Orchid, Santal and Lotus Face Oils are another celebrated product and have this year turned 60! Developed by Clarins and the physiotherapist Jacques Courtin-Clarins, the formula has stayed exactly the same. But then again why change something that isn’t broken?

These handy oils are priced at £29 each and look just wonderful on your bathroom shelf. It certainly works to soften up tough and lacklustre skin. It is a great product to invest in if you require an intense oil treatment.

It is available from a variety of beauty stores nationwide and is loved by both celebs and fellow fashionistas globally!

There is a time and a place for casual clothes and then there is a time for super smart attire. Knowing what to wear to which occasion is only half of the battle.

The fastest way to spruce up an otherwise low-key look is to smarten it up with a well-cut shirt. Whether you wear it with casual chinos, formal trousers, smart shorts or a skirt, a crisp shirt will instantly add a smart style to your look.

Keep the shirt in question stylish and opt for new arrivals such as pieces from designer labels including Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Naked and Famous.

All of the above designers house a great selection and any on of the pieces purchases from their lines will guarantee to spruce up your current wardrobe in an instance!

If you wish to pucker up your man’s wardrobe, look into the likes of military style shirts by Alexander McQueen, a duck slim fit single cuff shirt by Naked And Famous or a button-down collar regular fit single cuff shirt by the infamous Vivienne Westwood.

Other pieces and designers to keep in mind include the likes of a Smyth And Gibson Collar-bar regular fit single cuff shirt, a Marc by Marc Jacobs neon-button Oxford shirt and a Phillip Lim Dolman shirt.

All of the above are great investments and will instantly have the effect of styling your current wardrobe to the max!

Shirts also look great on guys when worn with chino style shorts. Leave loose for a weekend affair and tuck them in and style with a belt for a work do. Wear with brogues in order to finish the look completely.

Who would have thought it would be so easy to smarten a style up!

The best bit? Guys shirts also look super sexy on girls, simply cinch them in at the waist with a belt or leave loose and open over a tee for a more low-key style!

We have all spent mad moments throwing the entire contents of the wardrobe across the bedroom floor, knowing there is nothing suitable to wear. Wouldn’t it be nice just to get organised and plan the work clothes, weekend clothes and party clothes? It would certainly be a weight of our minds when it comes to deciding on what to wear. It is achievable with some thought and good planning.

Let’s start with work; no one has time to search through a wardrobe when rushing to work. You need a few tailored classics some silks, prints and a great handbag.

Start with a NEXT cotton blazer, which is £49 and add some cotton-cropped trousers, £170 by Sportmax. Finish the look with a stylish silk shirt, £189 by Malene Birger. When the weather warms up go for a cotton dress in mint pink, £65 at Urban Outfitters.co.uk. Add a neat wool cardigan to the mix, £84 at J Crew and don’t forget the accessories.

We all look forward to the weekend and most of us like it easy and relaxed, so have some fun with your off duty clothes. For only £8 George at Asda do a brightly coloured jersey top to keep you warm.

There’s a fun flowered pair of shorts from Miss Selfridges at £32, team them with leather sandals, £35 from jonesbootmaker.com. A great off-duty summer look!

River Island cotton corset and shorts are a weekend must have at £20 each while at the other end of the market the Jimmy Choo woven and snakeskin bag is gorgeous costing £1,295.

Party time can cause lots of indecision’s and clothes will be thrown around the bedroom keft, right and centre, get organized and keep one end of your closet free to hang these treasured processions. If you need some new ones, Rachel Gilbert’s beautiful silk dress, £785 will brighten any party, or go with a sequined dress by Ali Ro at £340. Remember the jewellery as this will finish off the look, Anton Heunis at my wardrobe.com features a gold necklace for £215 that will get a lot of envious looks.

Your wardrobe could in fact be another wardrobes saviour. If your closet is brimming with too much of last season’s attire, it is now time to get sorting and get rid!

Don’t however chuck all your perfectly good clothes in the bin, simply drop them off at another venue. Yes that’s right TKMAXX, the high street designer discount store are asking you to drop your unwanted gear off at any one of their existing stores between the 1st and 30th of February!

This is aid of ‘Give Up Clothes For Good’ and no, that doesn’t mean remove yourself from fashion for the rest of eternity, it means helping out those who have less than you!

It launched almost eight years ago and is still going well!

The charity has in fact raised over £5 million for Cancer Research in the UK, this has happened because of you. All the clothes received are sold in Cancer Research Charity Shops.

This year all of the money goes to the children, a great cause I think you will agree.

The campaign is celebrity endorsed and all of the celebs taking part have recently shot an ad campaign.

Pass us the bin liners ASAP!! We guarantee that not one girl doesn’t have a wardrobe that is ready to burst at the seams so instead of squashing it into a crumpled ball, do something good with it! You will not only be helping a super cause, you will also be freeing up a little space in your wardrobe for next season’s clobber and the best bit? You can do it all the same time next year!

This is a great cause and one that we hope you will all support willingly. Get sorting now ladies!

Tinie Tempah, who as also recently been nicknamed the wise man has kindly agreed to give us his views on British style. As one of the most stylish male individuals of today, we are almost certain you will be more than happy to listen to his ever so humble opinion.

Tinie Tempah in fact won the award for GQ’s Best Dressed Man in 2012, so we have a feeling he may just know what he is talking about! So what is it that exactly makes the males of Britain so well dressed?

Tempah seems to think it has something to do with their class and the way they carry themselves. It is also about the history of tailoring. England in fact has a very impressive history when it comes to cutting clothes. Take Savile Row for an example.

Then there are the great British designers to consider. The singer’s personal favourites include the likes of the infamous Paul Smith, the iconic Alexander McQueen, Oliver Sweeney and Rake, which was in fact the label he wore to the Brit Awards on Tuesday night.

Apparently Rake is one of the star’s favourite designers, this is due to the impressive cut of the clothing and also how well it fits.

Rake is also a very individual designer and one that only on appears on the catwalk on very rare occasions, which makes it that little more special.

Tempah is also a member of the Dylan Jones’ British Menswear Committee and when asked how he plans to support London’s Design talent this year, he replied quite simply ‘just by wearing it!’ We can’t think of a better way to show a little support to any one of the new season designers. We are sure they all feel the same way and wouldn’t have any problems with Tinie donning any one of their pieces at any of this season’s prestigious events!

Fashions are constantly changing; keeping up with the latest trends can in fact become quite exhausting. However if you intend to spend a small fortune on a certain piece of attire, you will most definitely want to know that the item purchased will stay in trend!

This is why prior to purchasing anything of expense; you should check the current fashion forecast. Watching the latest shows, reading up on style editorials and keeping an eye on what the A-list celebrities are wearing is always a good way to learn of what’s hot and what’s not!

If you are buying an expensive bag or pair of shoes, choose a colour that will compliment the rest of your wardrobe. For example a bright orange pair of shoes may look fab on the shop shelves, but they certainly are not everyday wear. Opt instead for a neutral toned pair. This way you will be able to wear them more often than not.

This isn’t always the case however; if you want to make a statement, choose something in a super hot shade instead! A bag for example in a super hot hue doesn’t need to go with everything in your wardrobe as it quite simply makes a statement on its own.

Never wear too many trends at one time. This might work if you are going for an eclectic look, only a few certain individuals can however pull such a style off.

The most important rule of style is to feel confident in what you are wearing. Even if you are lucky enough to buy into the latest McQueen design, if you don’t think you look one million pounds in it, this negativity will shine through. You will instead appear uncomfortable and anything but confident.

Some things will never go out of fashion and others will come back into fashion, this is why it is wise to hold onto any designer goods, even if you keep them folded up at the back of your wardrobe until the fashions change!

Winter is a cold month and the cold generally does nothing for our skin. It can in fact make our faces appear a little dull and lacklustre in style.

A great foundation boasts to conquer such effects. Choose one that boasts to moisturise the skin as well as to hide any unwanted blemishes.

Photo Ready in Natural Beige from the make-up experts boasts to provide users with a thick and creamy formula that is easy to apply. The easy to blend base from Revlon provides even coverage with a slightly glowing finish, it is also oil free, which makes it even better!

Next up is the Airflash foundation from Dior make-up. It is available from a range of beauty counters globally and boasts to use new technology in order to achieve a velvety soft touch, It also offers something a little advanced as it works as a spray on as appose to a cream or liquid formula!

The sheer matte foundation from Nars is also a must-have for foundation fans!

It is certainly a great investment for those that suffer from blemishes as it stays matte all day. Another similar product comes in the form of the Eraser in 021 Nude, which is priced at £9.90 in total from Maybelline, which is available nationwide!

The product glides on in a sleek fashion and without clogging, which offers a natural and sheer finish, and appears dewy.

Foundation is a great coverage option, if you however prefer something a little lighter in formula, opt for a tinted moisturiser. This is a great tool for a casual office look or for a day out on holiday. Many tinted creams in fact have SPF factors included in their ingredients, which in turn means the user can cover both their beauty and safety needs at one time!

Teanagers can be tricky to buy for but the shops have an amazing amount of products any teen would love, from stylish clothes to fabulous accessories. Shopping in Newcastle is a great experience and there is a Lipsey shop in St Andrews Way, which has a snug fitting black and beige dress that will cling to any teenage figure. Wear with a cute cut-off jacket.

Prefer to dress more casual go for tight tapered jeans in the brightest red from Topman at £36, then team it up with Allsaints Haywood striped crew top for a look that’s very in today.

Every teen loves shoes and there is wonderful choice in many of the Newcastle shops, but if you’re not shy try Aries court shoes in red that are priced at £100 at Carvela stockists nationwide, wow is all we can say!

Harder wearing and very retro comes in the shape of these studded cowboy boots in tan leather that are from Jules B.

There are lots of tempting accessories to finish your look off. A grey tweed messenger bag from Ted Baker is a good size for daily use, but for evenings opt for the feather print clutch bag from Mulberry as it adds a touch of class to evening wear.

Pop inside the Diva brush and Assistant comb to touch up that big hair look at the incredible price of £2.50 and £2. Vogetti has designed these, next add a bit of bling with Disney Couture at Psyche with the Snow White Poison Apple Ring, this gold ring is encrusted with red crystals and has a small green apple in the centre. This is the perfect gift for the big kid! Accessorize is a bazaar of glittering pieces but their stone cuff at £20 really makes a statement.
